As Lead UI/UX Designer at DoorDash, I led the redesign of ChowBotics' Sally Robot interface - a 24/7 automated fresh food dispensing solution deployed across universities, hospitals, and grocery stores.

Solution Approach

Through comprehensive research including operator interviews, heuristic evaluation, and hands-on testing, we redesigned the interface focusing on:

  • Streamlined multi-ingredient restocking workflow

  • Intuitive operator dashboard with improved data visualization

  • Integration with DoorDash's PRISM design system

The redesign successfully balanced technical constraints with user needs, resulting in a more efficient and user-friendly robot interface that received overwhelmingly positive operator feedback.
